Oil press МП (forepress) is designed for cold or hot pressing of oil-based crops and their oilcakes according to the schemes of one, two or three multiple pressing. Temperature of the raw-material incoming to the oil press has to be at least 50 ^OC, seeds humidity has not exceeded 6-7 %.

Material (ground sunflower core after moister and heat processing, oilcake) that has to be pressed continuously income to screw extruder through a feeder into the receiver portion of the extracting box. The material is grabbed by the first turn of the screw axle and pushed along the extracting box. The material is continuously compressed and pressed during this pushing. Along with this extracted oil outflows through the extracting box and extracted material outflows through outlet annular slot at the end of the extracting box.
Oil is extracted from raw material under pressure, outflows through extracting box cylinder slots and collects in the corresponded drain pan. Oilcake is pushed-off by the axle from the extracting box chamber and its thickness is regulated when coming out with help of adjusting device. Oil press is designed for exploitation in enclosed spaces.

Oilseeds, oil raw material or oilcakes before feeding into the oil press have to be freed from dirt (dirt content has to be not more than 1%) and metal contamination (none) for maintaining required process variables of the oil press.
